About Trent

I love doing this work because, at my core, I love helping people: whether I’m helping learners get the information they need to do their jobs, helping organizations find an efficient way to solve a problem through training, or just helping individuals tell their story. I am also consistently drawn to the challenge of confronting complex information, learning about it, and then finding a simple way to explain it to others. It is a deeply satisfying experience to help others achieve an “ah-ha!” moment.

Originally from the central coast of Florida, my career has led me to Bethlehem, PA where I earned my MA, Edinburgh, Scotland where I earned my PhD, Portland, OR to work at Nike, Inc., and now Busan, So. Korea. Throughout the past 20 years, I have honed my skills in analysis, learning design, development, visual communication, writing, and project organization. I have worked with universities, museums, fortune-500 companies, small businesses, and individuals.

My personal time is spent playing with my family and dog, cooking, running, and playing tabletop games.
